  CRITICISM DAY 2 (28/02/2025) As part of our B.Ed curriculum, we continued with the criticism session for the classes on the second day. It was another enriching experience filled with engaging lessons and valuable observations. The day began with the first session I attended observation classes by Physical Science students Shamsiya and Julia. Both of them delivered highly engaging lessons, skillfully incorporating visual aids and fascinating facts to make their topics more interesting and accessible to everyone. Their creative teaching methods captured the students' attention and made the learning process lively and interactive. The lessons reflected their strong preparation and thoughtful use of teaching materials. In the second session, from 11:50 AM to 12:30 PM, my criticism class on the topic "Construction of Quadrilaterals".   CRITICISM SESSION DAY 1    A DAY OF INSIGHT AND LEARNING(27/02/2025) A s part of our B.Ed curriculum, we have regular criticism on semester 1&2  to improve our teaching skills and understanding of classroom dynamics. The first day of the criticism session for semester 1 was held on Thursday, 27th February 2025.  The day began at 10:00 AM with a English class conducted by Anuja H Babu. I had to act as a student for the criticism class from 10:00 AM to 11:40 AM. The class was well-structured and interactive, with meaningful teacher-pupil and pupil-pupil interactions that enhanced the learning experience. The post-class criticism session from 10:40 to 10:50 AM allowed for constructive feedback on the teaching methods used and the overall engagement of the students. The second hour, from 10:50 to 11:30 AM, was conducted by Anju S Prasad, from the English department. SPORTS DAY    Celebrating Strength and Spirit: Sports Day 2025 On Tuesday, February 25, our college hosted its much-anticipated Sports Day as part of the B.Ed curriculum. Held at the college ground, the day was a celebration of physical strength, team spirit, and healthy competition. The event beautifully combined the collaborative nature of team sports with the individual challenges of athletic contests, reflecting our semester-wise focus—team games in the first and athletics in the second. The day kicked off at 9 AM with an impressive march past, led by the captains of the Red, Blue, and Green houses. Each team proudly carried their house flag, showcasing unity, discipline, and coordination. DEMONSTRATION CLASS (CRITICISM)  As part of our B.Ed curriculum, we had the enriching experience of attending a model criticism class on Monday, February 24. This session, led by our seniors, provided us with a practical glimpse into real classroom dynamics and effective pedagogical techniques. It was not only educational but also deeply inspiring. The day began with an optional demonstration session during the first three hours, where we observed activity-based lessons for the first semester. Three senior students from the Mathematics Department took the lead in conducting these sessions: Ansu Alexander (10:00 am – 10:40 am) skillfully utilized audiovisual aids and well-designed charts to explain the lesson content with clarity and enthusiasm. VALENTINE'S DAY CELEBRATION : PREMAM   Following Valentine’s Day on February 14, our college brought the spirit of the occasion to life with a special celebration titled Premam, held on February 21, 2025. Since the actual day was packed with academic schedules, the college union thoughtfully postponed the event to the following Friday afternoon, making space for everyone to participate and enjoy. The General Hall was transformed into a vibrant, love-themed venue, beautifully adorned with balloons, heart-shaped decorations, and soft, ambient lighting. The atmosphere was warm, cheerful, and full of anticipation. The event kicked off at 2 PM with a cheerful welcome from the college union members, whose energy and enthusiasm immediately set the mood for a delightful afternoon. Scheduled from 11 AM to 12 PM as per our regular timetable, the session took place during the second hour and aimed to enhance our understanding of career planning and employment prospects. Our principal inaugurated the session with an encouraging welcome address, highlighting the critical role of career awareness and skill development in today’s rapidly evolving job market. WORKSHOP DAY : Digital Album and Digital Profile   On February 6, 2025, as part of the BEd curriculum, our college hosted an enriching workshop focused on digital profiles, digital albums, and video production. The event, which ran from 9:45 AM to 3:45 PM, provided participants with practical knowledge and skills in digital content creation.
