CRITICISM DAY 2 (28/02/2025)
As part of our B.Ed curriculum, we continued with the criticism session for the classes on the second day. It was another enriching experience filled with engaging lessons and valuable observations.
The day began with the first session I attended observation classes by Physical Science students Shamsiya and Julia. Both of them delivered highly engaging lessons, skillfully incorporating visual aids and fascinating facts to make their topics more interesting and accessible to everyone. Their creative teaching methods captured the students' attention and made the learning process lively and interactive. The lessons reflected their strong preparation and thoughtful use of teaching materials.
In the second session, from 11:50 AM to 12:30 PM, my criticism class on the topic "Construction of Quadrilaterals". Following me, Joel Reji delivered his class with the same enthusiasm, maintaining a good flow and encouraging active participation. Both sessions highlighted effective teaching strategies that made the learning environment dynamic and student-centered.
After the lunch break, we attended the Malayalam class, where Nidhin and Amal took the session. Their classes were well-planned and engaging, making it easy for students to grasp the lessons. They succeeded in maintaining student interest through lively discussions and clear explanations, creating a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere.
This day of criticism sessions further emphasized the importance of preparation, creativity, and student engagement in teaching. Observing different teaching styles and techniques provided valuable lessons for us as future educators, helping us to reflect on and refine our own approaches to classroom teaching.
