Third Week ( 17/11/25 - 21/11/25 )
Day 9 ( 17/11/25 )
Today was the 9th day of my second phase teaching practice. I reached the school before 9:30 a.m. The day began with a special assembly in connection with Children’s Day celebration. Various programmes such as speech and dance performances were presented by the students, creating a cheerful atmosphere in the school.After the celebration, a prize distribution ceremony for Kalolsavam winners was held. The winners from different categories were honoured, and the event encouraged students to showcase their talents and boosted their confidence.
During the 3rd period, I had a class with 9B. The topic taken was “Area of Circles” from the unit Circle Measures. The students learned how to calculate the area of circles and enthusiastically participated in solving related problems. After the classes, lunch was served, and the day concluded by 3:30 p.m. Overall, it was a joyful and engaging day filled with learning and celebration.
Day 10 (18/11/25)
Today was another significant day of my second phase teaching practice. I reached the school before 9:30 a.m. As scheduled, I had my optional observation class conducted by Sreelekshmi miss.
The observation class went smoothly. I handled the topic measures from the unit Real Numbers , and the students participated actively throughout the session. The class included interactive questioning and activity-based learning. Optional Teacher Sreelekshmi miss observed my class carefully and provided valuable feedback. She appreciated my presentation, student engagement, and clarity in explanation.
After the observation class, I took charge of the Christmas carol song practice for the students. The students showed great enthusiasm and enjoyed participating in the singing practice. The rehearsal created a joyful and festive atmosphere in the school.
The day was both productive and enjoyable, as I gained useful teaching insights from the observation and also engaged students in a creative, festive activity. I left the school by 3:30 p.m., feeling happy and satisfied with the day’s experiences.
Day 11 ( 19/11/25)
Today was the eleventh day of my second phase teaching practice. During the third period, I handled the 9B class and conducted a test paper based on the chapter “Circle Measures.” The students actively participated in the test and attempted the questions with seriousness. Through this evaluation, I was able to assess their understanding of the concepts taught in the chapter and identify the areas where further clarification might be needed.
After the lunch break, at 3:00 p.m., the school conducted a general PTA meeting. Parents actively participated, and teachers discussed the academic performance and behavior of students. The meeting provided a good opportunity to strengthen communication between parents and teachers for the betterment of students.
Overall, it was a productive day, as I could evaluate my students’ learning outcomes and witness the school’s efforts to enhance parent–teacher collaboration.
Day 12 (20/11/25)
Today was the 12th day of 2nd phase teaching practice I reach the school before 9:30 a.m. and the sign the attendance register I handle they class for 9th b on the topic numbers and geometry from the unit real numbers the class began with a short interaction vehicles students previous knowledge about real numbers then I explain the connection between numerical concepts and geometrical ideas with his suitable examples I also give some practice problems and their understanding and performance.
Day 13 (21/11/25 )
Today I reached the the school before 9:30 a.m. there were no regular classes are most of the student where absent because of the law attendance I couldn't conduct the plan the lesson for the day a general observation was conducted by Swathi teacher for my peers and Anupama, Fathima, vismaya, Akhil ,simi, Arunima and lekshmi. I did not conducting you observation today during the afternoon lunch was held in the school so it was a less day the provided a good opportunity for reflection
