Workshop on Music Composition – A Symphony of Creativity


Music has the unique ability to touch hearts and unite minds, and this essence came alive during the Workshop on Music Composition held at our college. The workshop was led by Mr. Anayadi Rakesh, Music Teacher from Shanthinikethanam Model Higher Secondary School, Shooranad, whose expertise and passion for music made the day truly unforgettable.

The morning session began on a melodious note as Mr. Rakesh demonstrated his remarkable musical talent. With his engaging style and friendly approach, he encouraged everyone to sing without hesitation. His interactive teaching and joyful energy created a lively environment where participants felt inspired to explore their voices and creativity.

During the afternoon session, participants were grouped into teams of five to six members. Each group was assigned the task of composing an original tune and writing lyrics connected to their respective optional subjects. This unique blend of academics and art sparked imagination and teamwork among the students, resulting in creative and meaningful compositions.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Father Terry, who expressed deep gratitude to Mr. Rakesh for his valuable guidance and motivation. The session ended on a harmonious note, leaving participants filled with inspiration and appreciation for the art of music composition.

Overall, the workshop was an enriching and delightful experience that reminded everyone of the boundless creativity music can awaken when shared in a spirit of collaboration and joy.
