2nd Week - Teaching Practice (21/7/25 - 26/7/25)

A Week of Joyful Learning and Meaningful Experiences

The week at school was an exciting blend of learning, creativity, and collaboration. Each day brought new challenges and opportunities that helped us grow as future educators while actively engaging with the students and school community.

Throughout the week, we efficiently carried out our kitchen duties and extended support to students who required additional guidance in their academics. Every task we undertook added value to our professional growth and strengthened our connection with the students.

21/7/25 – Quiz Competition for Upper Primary Students

We began the week with an intellectually stimulating quiz competition for upper primary students. The event aimed to promote curiosity, quick thinking, and teamwork. The participants displayed commendable enthusiasm, and the winners were congratulated for their excellent performance in front of their peers. It was an inspiring start to the week.

23/7/25 – Zumba Practice and Classroom Teaching

The following day was filled with energy and movement as we conducted Zumba practice sessions for LP and UP students. The activity created a lively atmosphere where students enjoyed dancing while staying active. Their enthusiasm made the session a delightful experience. On the same day, I handled classes in 9B, ensuring that the lesson was interactive and engaging.

25/7/25 – Special Assembly on Lunar Day

Lunar Day Celebration

A memorable highlight of the week was the special assembly conducted in observance of Lunar Day. We guided the students in preparing performances related to the theme, including songs, speeches, and a short skit. The students delivered their parts confidently, making the event a successful and meaningful one. On this day too, I took class in 9B.

26/7/25

The final day of the week was dedicated to unit tests. The morning session was reserved for examinations, during which we were assigned invigilation duties. Later, classes were suspended to facilitate the PSC examination scheduled in the afternoon.

Reflection

The week was a beautiful balance of academics, creativity, and co-curricular activities. From managing responsibilities to mentoring students, every moment enriched our teaching experience. It reaffirmed our passion for education and reminded us that being a teacher means learning continuously while inspiring others. We eagerly await the next week to bring more such rewarding experiences.
