A New Beginning: Welcoming Our New Principal at BMM II CTE 🌟

After a refreshing two-month break, classes at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education resumed on June 2nd. While internal exams were held in the final week of May, the first week of June marked the official restart of regular academic activities—and a significant leadership transition.

On this special day, Dr. Riju John formally handed over his responsibilities to Prof. K.Y. Benedict, who assumed the role of principal and head of the institution. To mark the occasion, a prayer was led by Muhsina, setting a thoughtful and reverent tone for the proceedings.

Ms. Sheeja, our college staff secretary, warmly welcomed the new principal, followed by an address from our newly appointed manager, Fr. Simon Lukose, who shared his words of encouragement and support.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring speech by Prof. Benedict, in which he outlined his vision and aspirations for the college. His words resonated with both faculty and students, offering a sense of purpose and optimism for the academic year ahead.

The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from the entire student community, who extended a heartfelt welcome to their new principal, embracing this new chapter in the college’s journey with enthusiasm and unity.
