This year, Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education, Kottarakkara, came alive with green energy as the Departments of Physical Science and Natural Science spearheaded a vibrant celebration filled with learning and environmental action. The highlight of the day was a campus-wide sapling planting drive, where students and faculty joined hands to plant hope—one tree at a time.   Insightful Beginnings: Day 1 of Model Criticism Model Criticism Day 1 was conducted on June 4, 2025. The Mathematics department held its criticism class from 10:00 to 10:40 AM, during which Akhila presented a lesson using the Concept Attainment Model (CAM). Following her presentation, a feedback session was held from 10:40 to 10:50 AM, where peer trainees and the supervising teacher provided constructive comments and suggestions to help enhance her teaching skills. I also completed an observation report, highlighting key strengths and areas for improvement in her performance. This session offered a valuable opportunity for student-teachers to demonstrate their teaching competencies and receive insightful feedback to support their professional growth. However, the remaining scheduled criticism classes were postponed due to a strike.

 A New Beginning: Welcoming Our New Principal at BMM II CTE 🌟 After a refreshing two-month break, classes at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II College of Teacher Education resumed on June 2nd. While internal exams were held in the final week of May, the first week of June marked the official restart of regular academic activities—and a significant leadership transition. On this special day, Dr. Riju John formally handed over his responsibilities to Prof. K.Y. Benedict, who assumed the role of principal and head of the institution. To mark the occasion, a prayer was led by Muhsina, setting a thoughtful and reverent tone for the proceedings. Ms. Sheeja, our college staff secretary, warmly welcomed the new principal, followed by an address from our newly appointed manager, Fr.
