Life Skill Development Workshop: A Day of Insight and Interaction
On March 6, 2025, a practical session on "Life Skill Development" (EDU 06) was held at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College as part of the B.Ed curriculum. The session began at 10:00 AM with a welcome address by Ms. Sithusha, who introduced the resource person, Mr. E.K. Jijan from Mount Tabor Training College.
The morning session included interactive theory and practical exercises, such as the Johari Window, Kintsugi, and games like the color-word reading and blindfolded paper-tearing to enhance communication, self-awareness, and cognitive skills.
In the afternoon, students participated in engaging group activities, including the Team-Building Balloon Challenge, product marketing tasks, and a communication-based drawing exercise. Despite minor monotony in some theoretical parts, the workshop remained lively and insightful. It concluded at 3:30 PM with a vote of thanks, leaving students enriched with essential life skills.
