Annual College Day Celebration 

The Annual College Day was joyfully celebrated on March 28, under the vibrant leadership of the college union, ‘Nitara’. The event commenced at 10:00 AM in the seminar hall, with the official inaugural session beginning at 10:30 AM. 


The programme opened on a reverent note with a prayer session led by Fr. Philip, setting a serene tone for the day. This was followed by a warm and enthusiastic welcome address delivered by the college union chairman, who extended heartfelt greetings to all dignitaries, staff, and students.

The presidential address was presented by Principal  Riju, who reflected on the college's growth and achievements over the academic year. The formal inauguration of the celebration was conducted by Fr. Jacob and Fr. Philip, marking the official commencement of the day’s events. Next, Ansu, the general secretary of the union, took the stage to present the annual report, offering a comprehensive overview of the year’s highlights, including academic, cultural, and extracurricular accomplishments.

To honour the occasion, felicitation speeches were given by Arun Sir and Sheeja Miss, who appreciated the efforts of the student body and staff in upholding the spirit and excellence of the institution.

The morning session drew to a close with a vote of thanks by Greeshma, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. Following the official proceedings, the stage was transformed into a vibrant arena of artistic expression, as the senior students led a captivating sequence of cultural performances. The audience was treated to a delightful variety of musical renditions, traditional and contemporary dance numbers, and engaging theatrical acts, all of which showcased the diverse talents of the student community. Each performance was met with enthusiastic applause, creating an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie.

MONUMENT VISIT VISIT TO VELUTHAMBI DALAWA MUSEUM A T MANNADI Museum to the Veluthampi Dalawa at mannadi is the memorial of the freedom fighter. Veluthampi Dalwa who was the minister of Bala Rama Varma Maharja of the erst while Travancore kingdom. The museum was part of the veluthampi Dalwa memorial project launched in 1994. A VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME  On 6th September 2024, we had an opportunity to visit an old - age home a place that holds an immense amount of experiences and stories waiting to be shared. We visited "Sanketham" located at Kalayapuram in Kollam district. Ashraya was started on 7th April 1994. More than thousand people are being taken care of at different homes of Ashraya by a dedicated team led by Kalayapuram Jose, the Founder and General Secretary of Ashraya. Ashraya now has seven rehabilitation units all over the state of Kerala.  We had the opportunity to interact with the residents. each person I spoke to have a unique story to tell - stories of their youth, their families, and the experiences that shaped them to who they are today.
