CINEMA PARADISE 🎥🎦🍿




The Film Club inauguration was held on 22nd November 2024, offering an opportunity to experience the joy of cinema with open minds and free spirits. Organized collaboratively by the Film Club members and the college union, the event was coordinated by Noel M. Shibu and Jinda.

The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by Jinda, setting an enthusiastic tone for the day. The inauguration was led by Arun Sir, who also delivered the presidential address, sharing insights about the transformative power of films. Fr. Sabu Raju, the UUC, gave a heartfelt felicitation, appreciating the initiative, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Krishnaja, the magazine editor. The program was beautifully anchored by Roshma Pappachan, the Union General Secretary. The event began at 10:00 AM and concluded around 3:30 PM.

The morning session featured the screening of the movie "Adi Kapyare Kootamani", a light-hearted comedy filled with humor and memorable moments. Watching this popular film with classmates amplified the fun, as everyone laughed and cheered together, fully immersed in the amusing storyline.

After the lunch break, the movie "Chathikkatha Chanthu" was shown. Its captivating humor and engaging plot kept the audience entertained, with moments of collective laughter and shared joy. Adding to the festive vibe, students tossed paper bits around, creating an environment of carefree fun and camaraderie.


In the midst of the demanding B.Ed curriculum, this event served as a refreshing escape, offering a chance to unwind and connect with classmates. Beyond just watching movies, it was about sharing laughter, forging memories, and cherishing a much-needed break from academic pressures. The day was a perfect blend of relaxation and togetherness, leaving everyone rejuvenated and truly content. A soothing and unforgettable experience!

A VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME  On 6th September 2024, we had an opportunity to visit an old - age home a place that holds an immense amount of experiences and stories waiting to be shared. We visited "Sanketham" located at Kalayapuram in Kollam district. Ashraya was started on 7th April 1994. More than thousand people are being taken care of at different homes of Ashraya by a dedicated team led by Kalayapuram Jose, the Founder and General Secretary of Ashraya. Ashraya now has seven rehabilitation units all over the state of Kerala.  We had the opportunity to interact with the residents. each person I spoke to have a unique story to tell - stories of their youth, their families, and the experiences that shaped them to who they are today.
