A VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME

 On 6th September 2024, we had an opportunity to visit an old - age home a place that holds an immense amount of experiences and stories waiting to be shared. We visited "Sanketham" located at Kalayapuram in Kollam district. Ashraya was started on 7th April 1994. More than thousand people are being taken care of at different homes of Ashraya by a dedicated team led by Kalayapuram Jose, the Founder and General Secretary of Ashraya. Ashraya now has seven rehabilitation units all over the state of Kerala. 

We had the opportunity to interact with the residents. each person I spoke to have a unique story to tell - stories of their youth, their families, and the experiences that shaped them to who they are today.

MONUMENT VISIT VISIT TO VELUTHAMBI DALAWA MUSEUM A T MANNADI Museum to the Veluthampi Dalawa at mannadi is the memorial of the freedom fighter.
